Today 4T had an incursion, hands on science was what it was called. We did lots and lots of different experiments testing the property’s of materials.
My favourite experiment is written below:
Aim: to see which material is most flammable
Materials:
- 1 piece of each material
- Nylon
- Wool
- Dry fit
- Cotton
- No mex
- Plastic
- Match sticks
- Tin foil under each material

Method:
- Cut out 1 even piece of each material
- Light the bottom on fire
- Observe how quickly or if it burns
- Repeat this proses for each material
What material do you think would be most flammable?
